Responsible commitment to local communities, one of our core values, is achieved through constant involvement of our team in social and environmental programs, and trough the suport given to economic development of local communities where we operate.

1. Environmental Care programs :

Spring/fall tree planting campaigns under Millions of people, Millions of trees program, more than 1,000 trees have been planted since 2008 by Smithfield Prod volunteers.

A new park was built by Smithfield Prod volunteers in Utvin.

2. Ecological / Educational Programs:

World Water Monitoring Day - since 2008 open lessons on rivers water quality monitoring: 80 pupils participated from Utvin and Sanmihaiu schoools

Your World? A Clean One! - since 2009, an educational environmental program

We run various Internal communication programs for selective waste collection & environmental protection (in Recolamp partnership, Green Week, aso)
